How to protect facebook account from hacking?

Facebook is a top and most popular social networking site which is created by Mark Zukerberg in August 2014. It is famous because it has more than 500 million active user. Due to its popularity and advertising network, many hackers are involving in hacking of other suspecting users. If you get hacked than your account will not remains your. So, there are many way to lose control over the Facebook account and hackers easily get access to your Facebook account.  1.     Always log out your Account.

The first and most important steps to save your account from hacking is Log out because if you don't do this than it become easy for hacker. 



2.     Don't click on unknown link.
Beware from videos, status, message, comments and Facebook which contain unknown links because they may be spammy, which on your click redirects you and take control over your account. Hackers spread this type of link by phising process. Spammy links may be like this as shown in the below picture.

 3.     Application Permission.
While using Facebook, many user have habit of answering quiz, add any application, install a Facebook game. Whenever you do this, some time it force you to go in a unknown screen showing the permission the application needs. Which may be ask for your Facebook information including, your E-mail, Password and any other personal application. An example of "Application Permission" is shown in the below picture.

So, in other words if you do not read the permission you may be get hacked. So, beware of such type of application and there permission.

4.     Download Notification.
While using a Facebook many users shares video on Facebook, with a notification "Install or updates this codec" to play this video, may be that notification is right in some case, but not in all case. Because may be its a Trojan virus in the face of a notification. So, who don't know about this type of notification stay away from it because it may be slip from net and make harm to your Facebook account.

5.     Protect yourself

• Add your phone no. Add your phone in Facebook and make it private. Because later if you get any problem with Facebook log in and may be your account has been hacked that time you can restore your account with phone no. because in that case Facebook ask for the no. to send to Facebook password recovery code in your mobile.
•  Add security question. It is the second option to get back your Facebook account. Choose a question, answer which no one knows about it. And choose a unique answer which is not easy to guess but easy to memorize by you.
•  Don't add unknown user . In Facebook there are many fake Id whom you don't know personally. So, don't add or accept request whom you don't know.
• Turn on Notification. Due to which Facebook able to send you notice about Time, Date, Browser and Operating system.
• Change your password regularly. As you change your tooth brush in a regular interval of time like that keep change your password which is not easy to guess.
