How to Attach a Laptop With a Broken Screen to a Monitor Easy Way

Hello World! If you have a laptop but broken screen, it is probably very important for you to be able to connect the laptop to an external monitor. Connecting your laptop to an external monitor is possible as long as all other functions on the laptop are not broken. That is, as long as the computer boots up and runs properly, it can be connected to an external monitor. You will need a video connection cable in order to connect your laptop to a monitor

1. First make sure that both of your laptop and monitor are power turned off.

2. Now plug one end of the VGA cable into your laptop's video output slot. This can be found either on the side or the back of most laptops. Tighten the screws on the VGA connection piece to ensure that the cable is secure.

3. Connect the opposite end of the VGA cable into your external monitor's video input slot. This can be found on the side or back of your monitor.

4 .Turn on your laptop and monitor. Wait for the laptop to completely boot. You won't be able to see anything on the screen, so listen to the laptop while it loads and wait until you no longer hear any noise from your laptop.

5 .Change the display setting on your laptop to display content through an external monitor. To do this, click the "FN" and "CRT/LCD" buttons on your keyboard. Most laptops have this "CRT/LCD" button as "F3" "F5" "F8" or "F9" Press these buttons until content appears on the external monitor.
